School District Accountability Act

The School District Accountability Act, Public Law 2007, Chapter 53, requires that the any board of education shall not renegotiate, extend, amend, or otherwise alter the terms of a contract with a Superintendent, Business Administrator, or other non-union employee earning $75,000 annually unless notice is provided to the public at least 30 days prior to the scheduled action by the board. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:11-11, the Hardyston Township Board of Education conducted a public hearing.
