The Hardyston School District together with our parents, families and community is dedicated to preparing our students for the 21st Century by providing each student with a quality education, in a safe and caring environment, which allows all students to achieve the NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards at all grade levels and includes the knowledge, confidence and self-esteem to be successful life-long learners in a culturally diverse democracy.

• To provide appropriate programming in line with the NJ Core Curriculum Standards and provide staff development opportunities to insure the very best instructional opportunities for all students and increase student achievement in the classroom.
• To aggressively pursue alternative funding and additional new shared services opportunities by December 2008.

School District Accountability Act

The School District Accountability Act, Public Law 2007, Chapter 53, requires that the any board of education shall not renegotiate, extend, amend, or otherwise alter the terms of a contract with a Superintendent, Business Administrator, or other non-union employee earning $75,000 annually unless notice is provided to the public at least 30 days prior to the scheduled action by the board. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:11-11, the Hardyston Township Board of Education conducted a public hearing on May 8, 2007. The following contracts are available for public review: Superintendent, Business Administrator, Asst. Principal Middle School, Elementary School Principal.
